Mostapha Obeid was born in Kalamoun – Tripoli in 1956.

He is a Member of the Lebanese Association of Artists and Sculptors.

He is a Professor of Fine Arts at the Lebanese University and ALBA – University of Balamand.

He presented 16 individual exhibitions from 1978 to 2016.

He participated in several symposiums and to many collective exhibitions in Lebanon and abroad, most relevant are:

“Le Grand Palais – Paris 1992” – “Soursok Museum – 1994” – “Honor to Gibran -1998” – “Contemporary Lebanese Art – Sarum College” – “Salisbury – England 2005”.

Mostapha Obeid displays six mural’s mosaics at the National Orthodox College wall in AL- Mina -Tripoli. One Bas-Relief mural is exposed in front of Tripoli Town Hall and two other mural’s mosaics in Ras El-Metn.
