Born in Tripoli in 1949, Mohamad Azizé is a well-established painter and respected arts professor. He holds a D.E.F. in Fine Arts and a D.E.F. in Advertising Arts from the Lebanese University in addition to a D.E.A. in Plastic Arts from the University of Paris 8. Azizé was one of the founders of the Art’s Union in Tripoli. He’s also a former member of the Arab Union for Plastic Arts and the Association of Lebanese Artists, as well as the former Head of the Painting & Photography section at the Lebanese University. For the past 40 years, Azizé has been exposing his work, individually and collectively, in and outside Lebanon. He lately won the “Chaykha Souad Sabah Byanal Golden Award” in Kuwait, which comes to top his 4 other awards, including the Ministry of Education’s Face Photographing Award. Azizé’s masterpieces are displayed in landmark buildings such as the Lebanese Presidential palace, the Brazilian Presidential palace and the Toulouse prefectural headquarters in France.
