Hoda Hajj, born in Hadat Beirut, has had a passion for the arts since her childhood; this passion was cultivated over the years thanks to favorable social and cultural influences in her environment.
After having taught for many years at the Mission Laïque Francaise, Lycee Franco-Libanais Verdun, she decided to dedicated her time to her art; taking many workshops and opening her own Atelier “Zakharef”.
This move has allowed the artist to fully fulfill her creative ambitions. She creates a myriad of palettes with a variation of media and techniques to realize her artistic visions. Hoda is always searching for new and innovative ways of expression that range from paintings, installations, furniture decoration, and many other artisan and decorative works. The artist shares her know-how by offering painting and art lessons at her atelier.
Hoda has exhibited her work in solo and collective exhibitions at Exode Gallery, Al Yarz Country Club, Faqra, The Garden Show, Bellamy’s, and the German Cultural Center in Jounieh to name a few.
Her style is an incarnation of an open spirit, a curious nature, and an expression of emotion that goes hand in hand with a mastery of technique and deep reflexion.
