Betty Khatchikian is a self-taught Lebanese artist born into a supporting family who embraced and encouraged their daughter’s passion for art. After a five-year inspirational soul-searching trip to China, Betty moved back to Beirut where she worked on turning her hobby into a living by polishing her talent through online workshops with artists from New York. With time, her work evolved from classical realism to contemporary, she chose portraits, the sea and landscapes to be her favorite art subjects. Today, Betty sells her work online. She participated in her first collective art exhibition in 2016 and had her first solo exhibition, entitled “The Manifestation”, in February of 2018, whereby she attempted to depict the power and wonders of life through paintings, products and installations.
